JC Club Champs Vs ISC Student Champs

At this time of the season we have a lot of the newer members asking what the difference is between club champs and student champs.

Junior Cyclist Club Champs (11 March 2018)

This event is open to all Junior Cyclist Season Members, regardless of which CNSW club you may, or may not be a member of.

If you normally pay $14 per round, you are a Casual Member. Its not too late to become a Season Member. -At this time of season it only costs $15 to become a Season Member. Casual Members may still enter, but are not eligible for a medal.

Categories include:

  • U7 to U17 with separate club medals awarded to males and females on track bikes.
  • U7 to U17 with separate club medals awarded to males and females on non-track bikes; road, hybrid, MTB, BMX etc.

NSW/ACT InterSchool Cycling Student Champs (18 March 2018)

This event is open to all NSW and ACT school students regardless of any club membership status.

Categories include:

  • U7 to U17 with separate student championship medals awarded to males and females on track bikes only.

This event is for track bikes only. While it sounds like a big deal, there are not a lot of track riders in NSW & ACT at the moment. Don’t assume that this is some sort of elite event. All track bike riders are encouraged to attend.
