Lidcombe Oval

Lidcombe Oval

The track was resurfaced in early 2014. It is considered one of the smoothest outdoor tracks in NSW. It has plenty of space making it very safe for new young riders to develop. The velodrome can be lit up at night to allow riders to train as the sun goes down early in the winter months.

Lidcombe Oval is situated near the end of Church St, Lidcombe NSW. Do not attempt to approach from the Percy St side.

Summer Season Use (October – March):

6pm Thursday – Skills and drills under lights.
2pm Sunday – InterSchool Cycling and Sunday Funday.

Sydney Olympic Park

This venue is ideal for juniors. It includes very easy tracks for riders with minimal skills through to tracks with more complex challenges and terrain.

Lansdowne Reserve (Lansdowne Park)

Lansdowne Reserve features two kilometres of car free roadway designed specifically for cycling events. It is very smooth and wide making it safe for young riders.

While the course has some challenging sections, a short, flattish configuration for very young novices is also available.

The course is nestled in a beautiful bushland setting and includes a car-park and toilet facilities close to the start and finish line.

Lansdowne Reserve is just ten minutes from Parramatta.

Access to the park is from Henry Lawson Drive. Just 1.3km south of the Hume Highway, or 4km north of Newbridge Rd. (Hint: Most navigation apps should work by tapping on this link)
